Show Divas
Show Divas is Horizon's amazing women's show choir. The group is made up of approximately 40 women who range from Freshmen to Seniors. Members of Show Divas must be strong vocalists and dancers, as well as solid musicians. The ensemble performs mainly pop, Broadway and contemporary music, and all of their pieces are choreographed by student choreographers.
Show Divas performs at Broadway Under the Stars, the Winter Concert, Honor's Concert and the Spring Concert. They also perform for recruiting purposes at junior high and high schools and they have the opportunity to work with collegiate and professional clinicians. Each year, noteworthy and Show Divas travel on a jam-packed, one day only "Mini-Tour", a trip around the valley where they perform for various middle and high schools and around their community. They also typically participate in a workshop with the cast of a broadway production and see those cast members in action in the show that same evening.
